How gorgeous is this watch I got on Hautelook a few weeks ago for $20 bucks!! I am so in love with the price and the watch!!! I have been admiring gold watches for quite a while now but I don’t have the dough for the Micheal Kors one that I really wanted. So I had to search for a good substitute. I think I did good with this Jules and James bauble 🙂 Check out the detail on the face……
I love that the CZ’s are small and subtle so it has a little bling but not too much. The watch is rather big and I have tiny wrists so any more ice and I would be approaching P Diddy status. I even love the box it came in!
I know I said no more blurry pics after I got the new camera but I damn near tackled this lady in Micheal’s today to ask her where she got it! Much to my amazement and crafter’s envy she said she made it! Even more amazing is that cute purse cost her all of $9.00 bucks to make! She said she got the skull on Ebay and ended up getting it for free because some of the rhinestones came off during shipping. As long as she wasn’t going to sell it then who cares about a few measly rhinestones right? I was even more floored when she told me how much the purse was…. it was dollar at a garage sale!! Be still my CheapDiva heart! She got the fringe on Ebay as well and it only cost around $7.00. I asked to take a pic and she was more than happy to pose for me . Little did she know that I plan on stealing this idea. Mwuahahahahahah.

P.S. Kidding on the stealing the idea. She gave me her blessing to be a copy cat!
“Yes your honor I am guilty as charged. I stalked those adorable Fossil sandals for over a month. But I couldn’t help it! My inner CheapDiva wouldn’t let me walk away!” Haha! I know. I’m a dork 🙂 I really have been stalking these sandals for over a month though. They were originally priced at $15.99 at Ross and I was tempted at that price seeing as how they run about $49.00 retail. But when I saw the pink clearnace tag I got giddy and snatched them up!
All things come to those who stalk…err…aaah… I mean wait.
Its been quite a while since I’ve been to the good ol’ Staples Center in LA but as of Sunday i’ll be paying it a visit once again. I got to go there for the Grammy’s two years ago and now I have the privilege of going back for the American Idol finales. SO EXCITED! It’s sort of terrible but I think I’m just as excited about my wardrobe as I am about interviewing all the celebs. Dillards in Wolfchase Galleria was generous enough to provide all of my clothes for the red carpet events! I will post pictures of all the looks while I’m in LA but for now here’s a skeak peek of a few of the things I got 🙂
This adorable top will most likely be a part of my interviewing attire. I’ll pair it with the Rock Revival Jeans that got. And for my favorite piece……..
I am totally in lust with this dress!! This will definitely be a red carpet moment! Like I said…this is just a sneak peak of all the goodies I’m taking to LA with me! THANK YOU SO MUCH to all of my friends at Dillards Wolfchase!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, my first color obsession this summer was tangerine and now I think it’s becoming teal/green. I already bought a shirt like this in beige so I felt bad buying another one but this color is just so stinking pretty! Plus the price was right 🙂
And me being the shopaholic that I am I decided to make an outfit for this shirt. First I found this Chinese Laundry belt on clearance for $5.49!
I love how the owl picks up the color in the blouse. Did you notice the shorts in the background yet?
Super comfy and they fit just right! Not too long, not too short, and give the booty a nice boost. Pretty much a steal for $13.99. On to the shoes….
Another Chinese Laundry find for only $12.99. Normally these run around $39.00 bucks. The blue in the strap is another little touch that goes well with the shirt. You know “Ya gotta Coooooordintae”. LOL yes I just made a Coming To America movie reference 🙂
I love these new teal green shorts I bought the other day at Ross. I know that store is a bit of a problem for my wallet sometimes but their stuff is just so darn cheap! As in the price not the quality. Seriously, these Almost Famous shorts are usually $29.00 but at Ross I got them for $9.99.
There seems to be a comeback of bright 80’s colors on the clothing racks this summer and I have been trying to slowly add a little neon to my closet but it hasn’t been easy. Disco pink and lemon-lime green aren’t exactly my cup of tea. These shorts were a good compromise for my style. Am I weird that I just love the little leather detail on the back?
I tend to want to enjoy the little things in life and in fashion! 🙂
This site has turned me into a needy internet spender! Well that’s actually being a bit dramatic but I have bought quite a few things from this site lately. They have all kinds of sales on all kinds of things but the ones that have been catching my eye are the beauty finds. The first one that I found was this Urban Decay cheek highlighter in Moolnlight.
I had never tried it before but it was on sale at HauteLook for $6.00. (Normally its $24).
The iridescent shimmer gives you that Kim Kardashian dewy face glow. Haha listen to me and my semi professional makeup jabber. So after falling in love with the effect of the cheek highlighter I wanted to look for something with an all over glow without quite so much creamy shimmer. I will admit that I tried putting this stuff on my forehead like bronzer and it looked really funky. I went back to HauteLook today and found this!
It’s called All Over Magic Brightening Radiance by Pixi and Pop. To be honest I had never heard of Pixi and Pop before but the item description seemed to be just what I was looking for.

Can you tell that tangerine has been my color obsession for my summer wardrobe? Both of these tops are super cute right? Great color, great fabric, great detail in the back…..
But there is one very big difference between them and I bet you can guess what I’m going to say. Actually let me back up. I bet you can’t tell which one was the more expensive. I’ll give you a second to ponder this one…………………..Ready? The one on the left was $7.99 at Ross. Of course.
The top on the right came from a boutique that will remain nameless because I actually really like their stuff and they have a good selection of things you normally can’t find anywhere else. Anyhoo…it was $34.99. I also bought a pair of earrings to go with it that were $16.99.
I actually would pay $16.99 for these all day long because they are great quality and I got about a million compliments on them. So for these two things with tax it I spent around $55 bucks. Challenge time! Let’s see if I can do a little better with $55 smacker-roos. Off to the shopping haven I call Ross! Lets start with the basics.
I am a sucker for a basic V-Neck white tee and at $4.99 I’m game. I still had more time and money so I kept going.
I love summer shorts that have a little bit more length to them so I’m not showing off my booty cheeks to random people. LOL. These guys were on clearance for $6.99. Off to the next!
Super cute black club shorts for $8.99? Yes please! As and amendment to my previous comment about booty showing, shorter shorts can be ok in the right occasions. Just as long as the cheeks are covered. Next…
I love the color and the flowy detail of this top and the fabric is pretty awesome too. At $8.99 I was still under budget so it’s upward and onward people!
You would not believe how friggin hard it is to find a basic pair of black flip flops that are not cheap plastic and don’t cost a zillion dollars. Let me tell you, these flippy-floppied we’re only $8.99 and are super comfy. So after ALL that the grand total came to around $49.00! Under budget! Yay! So for for a cool fifty it’s this….
Or this!
Happy bargain hunting! MAY THE SHOPPING GODS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR! 🙂
I love a good glass of wine but I’m not into paying $30 bucks for something that’s going to last all of four glasses in my house. About a year ago I discovered the Cupcake Vinyards brand of wine and I instantly fell in love. All of their wines taste really smooth and at around $11.00 a bottle it’s one of my go-to’s. I usually go for their Pino Grigio or Moscato but I was looking for a little something different tonight. Along came the Angel Food Wine test.
So you don’t have to bust out with your magnifine glass here is the description from the website.
WINEMAKER’S TASTING NOTES: “Made with premium chardonnay grapes as a base, this proprietary white blend is luscious, aromatic and delightfully reminiscent of an Angel Food cupcake. Flavors of baked Granny Smith apple and hints of toasty vanilla combine for a creamy mouthfeel that has become a signature of Cupcake Vineyards.”
Sounded delicious enough for a test drive…..
I don’t really know if I tasted Angel Food cupcakes but I did like it. While looking over the site I found another cake wine I really want to try…RED VELVET! YUM!
I know this is a far cry from my usual posts about the great deals I got on shoes and beauty products but this thing scared the crap out of me this morning so I figured it was worth sharing. First of all, what the heck is that thing? And second, what was it doing in the stairwell of my aparment? Did somebody lose their pet or was their a breakout in the strange lizard cage at the Memphis Zoo today? I mean just look at its creepy spider looking fingers…Blaaacccccchhk! Gives me the heebie-geebies just looking at the picture! I’m lucky I wasn’t wearing stilettos when I was coming down the stairs! I must admit I jumped a little when I saw this mini-monster and that would have been a sprained ankle situation for sure!
